Contains x2 filters, which can be used to collect enough eDNA for up to x6 tests (assays).
For use only with powered peristaltic pumps (not included). Does not include a hand-operated syringe. Contains instead tubing and adaptors for use with powered pumps (e.g. Vampire Samplers).
If you do not use this kit this with a powered pump, you will not be able to take a sample.

Kit contents
Collection, storage and safe transport of your eDNA: Your kit contains all you need to collect*, store and safely transport your eDNA sample.
(*Tissue kits do not include the nets or traps you may wish to use to catch the organisms the kit is designed to contain.)
DNA preservation buffer: Preserve and protects the eDNA in your sample. (Preservation buffer for the Aquatic - DOT-NM kits provided by Dartmouth Ocean Technologies.)
One pair of gloves: If two or more people are using the same kit, please purchase extra sets of gloves - one for each person sampling. (Additional gloves are not available from NatureMetrics).
Sterile bags: For safe transportation of your samples.

Kits must be used within 12 months. One kit = one sample
Kits must be used within 12 months of purchase. After 12 months the preservation buffer (which protects the eDNA in your sample) can degrade.

Please note: One kit = one sample = one location. Kits can be used in one location only. Only one single latitude / longitude can be assigned to each kit.
